See London By Night is a bus tour with a difference — because you'll get to see London's most famous landmarks beautifully lit up in the night sky.
The 90-minute tour begins outside the Ritz Hotel in Piccadilly. It will then set off towards Kensington where you will see Harrods, the Royal Albert Hall and Natural History Museum. It will then return to Westminster taking in Westminster Cathedral, Westminster Abbey, Big Ben and the London Eye.
After that it will head towards St. Paul's Cathedral and continue all the way up to Tower Bridge and the Tower of London, before returning to the start via Nelson's Column, Trafalgar Square and Piccadilly Circus.
This night tour makes a nice change from the usual daytime ones, and might be worth thinking about if you already know the landmarks quite well. Most of the daytime tours don't bother taking you up to Kensington, but Harrods is so nicely illuminated at night then it's well-worth seeing.
You might want to check out the daytime buses before you book, though. The two biggest companies are the Tootbus Tour and Big Bus Tour. You might also enjoy a ride on London's cheapest sightseeing bus (the No.26 bus!). If you quite like the idea of a nighttime tour, but you think you'd enjoy something a little more spooky, then how about the London Ghost Bus Tour?
