Forget the big cinemas in Leicester Square with their huge queues and crushed-up popcorn scattered all over the floor... how about watching a movie on an outdoor screen instead? This summer Luna Cinema will be showing a few movies in the spectacular setting of the Lincoln's Inn.
Tonight's movie is The Devil Wears Prada (PG, 105 mins), starring Anne Hathaway as the lowly co-assistant to Meryl Streep's powerful fashion magazine editor... which is definitely not in any way based on Vogue, hint hint!
Note: There's limited seating capacity so advanced booking is recommended. You will also need to bring your own blanket to sit on (or you can pre-order one when you book). Bear in mind that screenings will usually go ahead regardless of the weather, even rain, so be prepared for a bit of drizzle and cold. (This is London, after all, and summer is no guarantee of warm weather!). Umbrellas are not allowed because they'll block the view of the people behind.
There will also be an onsite bar serving food and drinks. You are welcome to bring your own picnic but bear in mind that glass bottles and alcohol are not permitted.
