This 3-hour open-top bus tour will transport you back to the days of Jack the Ripper and Sherlock Holmes.
As you drive through the streets of London after dark you'll hear some of the city's most gruesome stories, like how many bodies are buried at Westminster Abbey, and how Charles I lost his head outside Banqueting House.
You'll hear tales about public executions, see the site of the notorious Newgate Prison by today's Old Bailey, and pass by the Royal London Hospital where the famous 'Elephant Man' once lived.
You'll hear spooky tales about the Demon Barber Sweeney Todd and Mrs. Lovett's human pies, and walk through a deserted Smithfield Market to find the spot where Scottish leader William Wallace was tortured (aka. Braveheart).
As the sky darkens you'll head into London's East End to learn about the world's most notorious serial killer Jack the Ripper, and see the streets where he stalked and butchered his victims.
The night will end with a visit to the Sherlock Holmes Pub, dedicated to the great Victorian detective. You will then be left to enjoy a pint and maybe a traditional fish and chip supper (food and drink is not included).
Note: This is an open-top bus tour so remember to wrap up warm and be prepared for the possibility of rain.
