Chamber Music by Candlelight at St. Mary-le-Strand

St Mary-le-Strand will be hosting an atmospheric evening of chamber music in the gentle glow of candlelight.

The series will include music by Haydn, Beethoven, Ravel, Debussy and Mendelssohn, alongside some vocal works and modern compositions.

Programme on the 12th April

The music will be performed by the string quartet Temporal Harmonies Inc.

Farrenc: Piano Trio in E minor Op.45; Debussy: Piano Trio in G; Gaubert: Piece Romantique; Boulanger: D'un matin de printemps;

Programme on the 10th May

The music will be performed by the Stroud-Zhang Duo (piano and violin).

Macmillan: Kiss on Wood; Mozart: Violin Sonata No.27 in G Major; R Strauss: Violin Sonata in E-Flat Major;

Programme on the 7th June

The music will be performed by The Meraki Quartet

Haydn: String Quartet Op.20 No.5 in F minor; Mendelssohn: String Quartet Op.13 No.2 in A minor
