Aldwych is the impressive bend at the end of Waterloo Bridge, seperating Fleet Street from the Strand. As hotel locations go you can’t get much more central, close to both the West End and the City.
Covent Garden is just round the corner and if you walk along the Strand you can be in Trafalgar Square in 10 minutes. Big Ben and Piccadilly Circus are both about 20 minutes away, and if you head the opposite way up Fleet Street then you can be outside St. Paul’s in 20 minutes and the Bank of England in a shade under 30 minutes. Even the London Eye is just a quick 15 minute walk across the bridge.

Sherrie What about staying at the Leonardo Royal London St Pauls? Is this close to a lot of attractions?
Craig Hi Sherrie. It's close to some of the attractions. You can have a nice walk to Bank and the Royal Exchange, and across the Millennium Bridge to the Tate Modern and Shakespeares Globe, but the areas around the West End, Trafalgar Square and Tower Bridge are about 1 and a half miles away. Big Ben and Buckingham Palace about 2 miles. All easy enough to walk, but you’ll probably end up getting buses to most places. there are loads of buses going down Fleet Street and up towards the City. I would happily stay there if it was me
