A note from the author

The best thing about this book is that I’ve personally visited all 200 of these attractions myself – honest! And I don’t just regurgitate the same old spiel that you find in 95% of guidebooks. It’s not the kind of guide where I just tell you the basics and leave it at that. I’ll take you inside each location and share my experiences with you. Maybe I enjoyed them and maybe I didn’t, but I’ll always give you an honest opinion.

What I try and do is walk through the door like a tourist and then tell you exactly what I see. I queue up in the pouring rain, traipse around the grounds for three hours, and then tell you whether it was worth getting soaked.

Hopefully it will encourage you to jump out of bed and explore London. If you’re planning a holiday with friends or family then it should give you plenty of decent ideas. And if you’re more of a solitary soul, then I hope to be good company as you wander around the streets in the rain.

Have fun in London! – Craig
