If you only have time for one walk around London then this is the one we'd recommend. The Square Mile is so densely packed with interesting buildings that it's impossible to cover it all in one day, but this walk will show you the most obvious places that tourists should see.
Highlights include the exterior of St. Paul's Cathedral, the medieval Guildhall, the Lord Mayor's residence at Mansion House, the Bank of England, and the impressive Royal Exchange.
Other interesting buildings along the way include St. Mary-le-Bow, with its connections to Cockneys and Dick Whittington, and Mercers' Hall - one of the 111 livery companies that still play a role in City life.

Edward Where does this walk start?
Staff It starts at the City Information Centre - that weird angular building round the southside of St Paul's, on the opposite side of the road.
