The area around London Bridge was once the scariest part of London, the place that no law-abiding citizen would visit.
Starting outside the Bunch of Grapes pub, this 90-minute tour will introduce you to the Bishop of Winchester's 'Geese' that provided entertainment in the local stew houses, show you where they performed operations without anaesthetic in the world's oldest operating theatre, and search for ghosts that linger around England's oldest prison.
The two-mile walk will take you past the site of forgotten graveyards, bear baiting pits and a 17th-century pub that's haunted by a canine ghost. And along the way you'll see some of London's most famous landmarks including St. Paul's, Tower Bridge and The Shard, plus the Clink Prison, Golden Hinde and Borough Market.

Sue Can dogs join the walk?
Staff Hi Sue. We emailed them and got the following reply: "You are welcome to bring along your dog to tour as long as the dog is on a lead and doesn’t interrupt the tour or other guests on tour."
