Walk in the footsteps of England's most famous playwright with this full-day tour through the pretty villages and countryside of the Cotswolds, to Shakespeare's birthplace at Stratford-upon-Avon.
Starting off in central London, you'll board a comfortable climate-controlled vehicle for your journey into the English countryside.
When you reach Stratford-upon-Avon your expert guide will share stories about the rich history of the town as they make their way to Shakespeare's birthplace (1 hour).
Your next stop will be Anne Hathaway's Cottage - the beautiful thatched farmhouse where Shakespeare courted his wife. It still contains some original items and furniture from Tudor times, including Anne Hathaway's bed (30 mins).
After that you'll continue your drive through the beautiful countryside and rolling hills of the Cotswolds, stopping at three of the very prettiest villages: Bibury, Burford and Bourton-on-the-water (known as Little Venice due to its low bridges and stone banks).
