On this full day tour you'll drive through the beautiful countryside of the Cotswolds and stop at a traditional English village, before enjoying a guided tour of the opulent Blenheim Palace.
After an early morning start on your air-conditioned coach you'll leave the hustle and bustle of central London far behind for the fresh air and tranquillity of the Cotswolds.
As you pass the lush green fields and rolling hills of Gloucestershire and Oxfordshire you'll stop at some of England's prettiest villages including Stow-on-the-Wold. You'll see the timber-fronted houses of Burford and have an hour to walk around the charming Bourton-on-the-Water - known as the 'Venice of the Cotswolds' due to its idyllic waterways and stone bridges.
Then it's back on the coach for the journey to Blenheim Palace, the ancestral home of the Duke of Marlborough and birthplace of Sir Winston Churchill.
You'll have two hours to explore this UNESCO World Heritage Site, marvelling at the sumptuous State Rooms and landscaped gardens designed by Capability Brown.
You can also spend some time walking around the exhibition and get an insight into the private life of Blenheim Palace’s most famous resident - Sir Winston Churchill. You can enter the very room that he was born in, stand on the spot where he proposed to his wife Clementine, and admire the artefacts and photographs from his extraordinary life.
