Piccadilly Circus ⇄ Pimlico Station | Tube Journey, Train Times & Fares

Piccadilly Circus station entrance – You must use two flights of stairs between the entrances and the booking hall (19 steps down +4 steps down from the Piccadilly northside entrance, 19 steps down +9 steps down from the Regent Street southside entrance, 22 steps down +8 steps down from the Glasshouse Street entrance, 2x13 steps down from the Coventry Street entrance, and 2x12 steps down from the Lower Regent Street entrance). After that there are two escalators plus another flight of stairs to the platforms (19 steps down to the Piccadilly platforms, and 20 steps down to the Bakerloo platforms)

Changing tube line at Green Park – There are two lifts and a long walk when changing platforms. If you want a shorter walk then you can use two escalators instead of the lifts

Pimlico station exit – There’s an escalator or seven flights of stairs from the platforms to the booking hall (3 steps up +16 steps up +4x17 steps up +3 steps up). After that you must use stairs from the booking hall to the exits (9 steps up to the Bessborough Street exit, and 16 steps up +18 steps up to the Rampayne Street exit)

Peak and off-peak journey times

For Oyster and contactless off-peak is outside the hours of 6.30 AM-9.30 AM and 4 PM-7 PM (Mon-Fri). For travelcards it’s any time after 9.30 AM (Mon-Fri). Weekends are always classed as off-peak. Note: Between the 8th March and 31st May 2024 TFL are running a trial called ‘Off-Peak Friday Fares’, where Fridays will be classed as off-peak all day.

The fare is based on what time your journey begins. It doesn’t matter what time your journey ends.
