Note: Between the 8th March and 31st May 2024 TFL are running a trial called ‘Off-Peak Friday Fares’, where Fridays will be classed as off-peak all day.

Staff Hi K Stubbs. Yes, there is a lift from the entrance down to the platforms

irism Hello. How far is it to walk to the Royal Observatory from here?

Staff Hi IrisM. It's about a fifteen minute walk from Cutty Sark DLR, but bear in mind that includes walking up Greenwich Hill as well, which is pretty steep

Marie How many steps is it if you walk to the platform?

Staff Hi Marie. There's just a lift down to the platforms, or escalators if you want to avoid the lift

Diane Howdeep is the underground station at cutty sark from the entrance?

Staff Hi Diane. we don’t know what it is in metres, but the train goes straight underneath the river afterwards, so it’s as least as deep as that

Ian furey How many stairs are there at cutty sark? They seemed to go on forever
