Your comments and questions

Rachel Hi, I'm visiting London for a week and want to go to the Prospect of Whitby pub is there a bus that will take me from Shadwell station? Or which bus goes to the Prospect of Whitby? Thanks in advance for your help.

Staff It's only about a 10-minute walk from the station, but if you wanted to catch a bus then you could try the D3 - tfl.gov.uk/bus/route/d3/?direction=outbound. The pub is just before you get to Shadwell Basin. It will probably be quicker to walk because it's a bit of a roundabout route

Milton Can you buy an Oyster card at Shadwell

Staff Hi Milton. You can top up an existing one at the self-service machine, but you'll have to get a brand-new one from a local newsagent

Luciano Would I have to pay a second fare when transferring from Overground to DLR at Shadwell Station, please?

Staff Hi Luciano. You'd only have to pay a new fare if you exited through the barriers and left the station. You should be able to change platforms without going through any barriers
