2comments Hi Wendy. They’re being supported by a guy called Dan Deacon

2comments Hi Gigi. It lasts for 2 hours and 10 minutes, which includes an interval

2comments Hi Wayne. It’s a guy called Gavin James

1comments how long is the opera

1comments I’m going, so exited!!

5comments Craig you might like to try St. Barts the Great. V old. V high church. Loads of incense. Some singing in Latin. Charismatic and smart bunch of preachers, if you ever want to listen. Whether you believe or not, these people can sometimes make a lot of sense. And their choir is terrific. Smaller but the oldest parish church in London

6comments Hi Richard. There’s no official date when they’re taken away, but they’ll almost certainly be there throughout December. There’s usually some all year round

7comments Hi Valerie. It’s closed from the 24th to 28th but should be open on the 30th

2comments The Country Affair and Dan Owen

2comments Hi Jackie, that’s a very good question. We’ve emailed them to find out what’s happened to the London routes and will post the reply here

1comments Can you please let me know if the Late Constable exhibition will be shown up in the north of England?

2comments Hi Sue. We emailed them and got the following reply: ’You are welcome to bring along your dog to tour as long as the dog is on a lead and doesn’t interrupt the tour or other guests on tour.’

1comments Is there any merchandise left. I would like a Dolphins in London T-shirt if possible

5comments I definitely agree with you there – city-guide.london/attractions/sky-garden.php

6comments Hi Amanda, thanks for letting me know. I know the ceremony only lasts for ten minutes but £5 is still a bargain.

2comments Hi Gordon. It looks like you have to pay but you do get a discount – £7:50 instead of the usual £12:50 if you book a ticket online – ornc.digitickets.co.uk/event-tickets/20031?catID=20407

2comments Hi DKerr, you can book it here rct.uk/whatson/event/1053997/The-State-Rooms-and-Garden-at-Buckingham-Palace

2comments Hi David. We’re not the venue, but it doesn’t look like that date is available now. The first available dates are in September. You can buy them from here: rct.uk/whatson/event/1054660/The-Garden-at-Buckingham-Palace

2comments Hi Rob. It does, but the date changes around a bit. It’s either held soon after a general election or on the first day of the parliamentary session, and because general elections are usually held in May most of the time it happens in May as well

4comments Hi Rob. Yes it’s on every day. On Monday to Saturday it’s 10:50 AM to 11:30 AM, and on Sunday it’s 9:50 AM to 10:30 AM, although you should try and get there earlier to bag a decent spot

1comments We are big fans of Downton Abbey and thought 18 Stafford Terrace might be an interesting snapshot of the era, and whilst of course it was not anywhere near as big or luxurious because it is just a normal home, it did transport us back in time. But it was also surprising how much has NOT changed in our lives, and has remained the same over the years

14comments Hi Said, I think they’re both well-worth seeing, but if I had to plump for just one then I’d probably go for Buckingham Palace. There’s definitely a lot more to see at Windsor Caste, but it’s more of a day trip, so if you’ve got limited time then you’ll have more time to squeeze in other attractions if you just spend a couple of hours at Buckingham Palace. But that’s assuming you come during the summer when the State Rooms are open. If you come at any other time of year then Windsor Castle is better, because that stays open all year round

1comments We discovered this walking along the river (going to Borough Market which we recommend!) and even though there is not a lot to see, it’s another of London’s intriguing hidden things that you regularly find whilst walking the streets. There is always something to see in London

1comments Hello. Yes, we saw these soldiers when we heard some music from St. James’s Park and tried to find where it was coming from, and then we watched them practising from behind the fence. London is full of surprises!

1comments We didn’t see the queen in the garden

6comments Hi HG. You have to buy your tickets online in advance, and pick a date and time slot. You’re not allowed to just turn up at the door and buy them on the day.

4comments Hi Anthony, it’s just a ten minute walk from Bond Street station… probably not even that.
