Mamma Mia! is based on the blockbuster movie starring Meryl Streep and Pierce Brosnan, and tells the feel-good story of Donna and her daughter Sophie's idyllic life on an Greek island.

Sophie is about to get married and is desperate for her father to walk her down the aisle, but there's just one slight problem... she doesn’t know who he is! That's when she discovers her mother's old diaries and finds three names scribbled inside hearts - Harry, Bill and Sam - and decides to invite all three of them to her wedding.
When the three men arrive on the island they are totally oblivious to Sophie's true motives, and after sharing some stories of her mum's wild-child youth they start to rekindle long-lost memories...

TinaH Best night out ever! After much struggling I even managed to drag my boyfriend along and even he had to admit in the end that he enjoyed it (although he would never admit it now). I had to go because I have watched the movie about 10 times but I love ABBA so much. Mamma Mia is just all fun all the way through and it is great because everyone knows the songs - even my boyfriend! I like the way they have managed to get the songs into it. It is great how they have managed to slip them into the storyline - it is like they wrote them especially for this show! When I went the audience was really lively, singing and clapping and that made it even better because it's a great atmosphere instead of sitting there in silence like when we saw it at the cinema.
B D I have seen Mamma Mia 5 times now (twice at the theatre and 3 times at the cinema) so you could say that I'm a bit of a fan. Both times at the theatre I sat in the circle and both times I had a great view. It is much better seeing the show at the theatre than at the cinema because the atmosphere is wonderful. Both times I went the finale bit ended up with everyone who was watching on their feet clapping and dancing and having a great time, like true Abba fans should!

Staff Hi Dan. Buying them direct from the shows's own website is the best way: mamma-mia.com/london.php. The only other site we'd really recommend is Ticketmaster because that's the biggest and most well-known.
