There's not a lot left of Roman London above ground, but what little remains is definitely worth seeing on this guided walk.
You'll join a qualified City of London Guide as they reveal how much of ancient Londinium still survives.
Along the way you'll discover why the Romans founded the city where they did, and some substantial chunks of the old city wall that once surrounded it.
You'll see the site of a Roman bathhouse that's now a pretty garden, where wartime bombing uncovered the remarkable Temple to Mithras, and pieces of a military fort near the Barbican.
Note: If you're really interested in Roman London then check out Craig's separate reviews of the London Mithraeum and Billingsgate Roman House and Baths. There's also a small piece of Roman pavement in the crypt of All Hallows-by-the-Tower, and a famous (but fake) Roman Bath in Surrey Street.
