From the moment you see the working windmill on the front of the theatre and the set with more windmills, bright lights and huge hearts, you'll feel like you've travelled back in time to Montmartre at the turn of the 19th-century, rubbing shoulders with the aristocrats and bohemians from Baz Luhrmann's blockbuster movie.

The story follows the troubled love life of the young composer Christian who falls for the beautiful cabaret singer Satine.

A jukebox musical with more than 70 songs

The musical takes classic songs from the likes of David Bowie, Elton John, Madonna, Tina Turner and Christina Aguilera, and turns them into a non-stop party of mash-ups, cover versions and original arrangements.

During its Broadway run the show picked up 10 Tony Awards for Best Musical, Best Director and Best Choreography.
