Fans of JK Rowling's Harry Potter will enjoy this walk around ten of the most famous locations from the books and movies.

Starting outside Westminster station, your expert guide - steeped in Harry Potter lore - will retrace the journey taken by Harry and Mr Weasley on their visit to The Ministry of Magic. After a quick look at the home of the British Prime Minister they'll reveal the secret entrance to the Ministry of Magic (as seen in Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix).

Then you'll see the spot where Harry, Ron and Hermione had to hide in Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 1, the magnificent cathedral with the magical spiral stairway that leads to Professor Sybil Trelawney's Divination classroom (from Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them), and walk across the wobbly bridge that was destroyed by the flying spirits in Harry Potter and the Blood Prince.

Along the way you'll walk in Harry and Hagrid's footsteps from Philosopher Stone, see the magical entrance to the Leaky Cauldron pub in one of London's oldest markets, and snap a few photos of The Monument, St Paul's Cathedral, Borough Market and the Tate Modern art gallery.

Note: There will be a short tube journey during the tour so make sure you have a valid Oyster card or Travelcard beforehand, as travel tickets are not included. You will also need to make your way back from Bank station, where the tour ends.

When the tour is over you might want to make your own way to one more Harry Potter location that isn't included on the tour: Platform 9 3/4 at King's Cross station. You can visit the Harry Potter souvenir shop nextdoor at the same time. Your guide will give you details on how to get there when the tour is over.
