Your comments and questions

Brian Harris Could you tell me how long it would take to walk from Westminster Underground Station to the Houses of Parliament, thank you

Staff You just cross over a main road and that's it, so about thirty seconds. When you come out of the station you'll see Big Ben right in front of you.

Anna Raywood Are there left luggage facilities at Westminster tube station. We need to leave some bulky items prior to a tour of the Houses of Parliament?

Staff Hi Anna, no. You have to go to one of the big national rail stations for those. The closest one is Waterloo, a ten minute walk over Westminster Bridge.

Ray Dias Which exit do I need to get to the House of Commons? Thanks ray

Staff Hi Ray, it doesn't really matter because they're all within 30 secs of each other. You will be able to see Big Ben when you exit. Just head round to Parliament Square and the visitor entrance is opposite the back-end of Westminster Abbey

Kyle What platform do I need to go from Westminster to Tower Hill? Thanks

Staff Hi Kyle. You need the eastbound platform for the Circle/District line. It doesn't matter whether you get a Circle line or District line train because they both go to Tower Hill.

Suse Is there more than one exit at Westminster?

Staff Hi Suse. The main one is directly opposite Big Ben on Bridge Street. There's another one on the Embankment side, by Westminster Pier, and there are some stair exits up to the pavement where Whitehall meets Parliament Square

Vincent Are there lifts to change from westbound District Line to Eastbound Jubilee Line ?

Staff Hi Vincent. Yes there are, but you'll have to use two lifts.
