Join the Trafalgar Sinfonia for a beautiful candlelit concert at St. Martin-in-the-Fields, where they'll be playing a selection of classical works by Vivaldi, Handel and Bach.
The Trafalgar Sinfonia
Founded by the conductor Ivor Setterfield in 1992, the Trafalgar Sinfonia quickly earned a reputation as one of the country's finest ensembles, performing regularly at international festivals and London's prestigious Royal Albert Hall and Royal Festival Hall.
Classical music programme
Handel: Arrival of the Queen of Sheba, Concerto Grosso in A Op.6 No.11, Air from The Water Music; Bach: Air on the G String, Jesu Joy of Man's Desiring; Vivaldi: Winter and Summer from Four Seasons
Four Seasons is one of the best known works in all of classical music, and is made up of four violin concerti that evoke the changing of the seasons with musical expressions of summer storms, frozen landscapes and cosy winter hearths.
