After that you must use an escalator down to the platforms. If you want to avoid the escalator then you can use eight flights of stairs (3 steps down +7x17 steps down)

Changing tube line at South Kensington – Changing between the Circle and District lines is on the same platform, but you must use stairs when changing between the Circle/​District lines and Piccadilly line

Sloane Square station exit – There’s an escalator between the westbound platform and the exit (or four flights of 12, 7, 12 and 17 stairs), but you must use three flights of steps from the eastbound platform (20, 14 and 16 stairs)
