Your comments and questions

Clare Rowe Is there a pickup/drop off area at Baker Street station?

Staff Not really. There's a little slip road in front of it, separate from the main road, but it's for the buses. If you stop there for a while you'll get beeped. But there are plenty of quiet residential streets nearby, so you shouldn't have a problem dropping someone off.

Anng Is there a left luggage facility at Baker Street? We are going to Madame Tussaud's before heading out to Heathrow

Staff Hi, not at Baker Street. You have to go to the National Rail stations for those. The closest one to Madame Tussauds is Marylebone, but you'll probably want to leave your luggage at Paddington instead if you're going to Heathrow (assuming you're getting the Heathrow Express)

Jan Harvey Does Baker Street have a lift to the Bakerloo line?

Staff Hi Jan. No, you have to use an escalator down to the Bakerloo line

alan Is there a lift to the street? I can't use escalators

Staff Hi Alan, no. Depending on which platform you're coming from you'll either have escalators or stairs. The Bakerloo and Jubilee lines have escalators. The Circle, Metropolitan and Hammersmith & City lines will have some stairs. There are no lifts from any of the platforms.

Stein Which platform should I catch if I want to go to King's Cross?

Staff Hi Stein. You'll need an eastbound platform for the Circle, Metropolitan or Hammersmith & City line. They all go to King's Cross. (Don't get the Bakerloo or Jubilee line, because they don't.)

Millie What are the opening times of Baker Street Station?

Staff Hi Millie. If you mean the first and last train times then it depends on the day of the week and what tube line you're using. If you stick your destination into the 'tube journey planner' section above, then it will bring up the first and last train times.

Msrtin Is there a staffed booking office at Baker Street.

Staff Hi. They only have the manned ticket windows at National Rail stations these days, so the closest one would be Marylebone

Amirul How many exits are there at Baker Street tube station?

Staff Hi Amirul. The main one is along the front in Marylebone Road, and there's another one down the side in Baker Street

Jim Deane Which exit from the station should I take for the Marylebone Road (I'm going to Nottingham Place).

Staff The main exit is actually on Marylebone Road, but even if you come out the side entrance on Baker Street it's only a sixty second walk

Andy Can we buy new oyster cards (we don’t have cards currently) for use for our visit the next 10 days at the Baker Street station?

Staff Hi Andy. You can only top them up at the machines. But there's a shop just down the road. This map shows where it is (it's the little blue Oyster card symbol) - tfl.gov.uk/maps/oyster-ticket-stops?Input=Marylebone%20Road,%20London%20NW1%205LA,%20UK&InputGeolocation=0,0&googlePredictionId=ChIJdZ6wHs8adkgRcrud4Ub-0jQ
