Your comments and questions
Dbn I'm travelling from Marylebone to Kew Gardens but I need to leave luggage at Paddington ready for my return journey on National Rail. Will my ticket be valid to continue my journey if I go via Paddington and leave the underground to go to left luggage, or will I need to pay for another ticket. Thank you
Staff Hi Dbn. That will be classed as two separate journeys. If you were just changing platforms at Paddington then that would okay, but if you want to leave your luggage you'll have to pass through the station barriers which will end the journey. When you get on the train again the computer will charge you a new fare.
hd I have a connecting tube journey from london waterloo to marylebone i have a double pram with a baby and a toddler what is the best course to take?
Staff Hi HD. If you've got to rush to catch a connecting train then maybe it's better to get a taxi instead which will cost about £13 to £20 and take 20-25 mins. The 159 bus will take about 25 minutes. If you definitely want to get the tube then the Bakerloo line is no good because you'll have an escalator plus stairs at Waterloo, and another escalator plus stairs at Marylebone (no good for a double pram). A bit better is the Jubilee line to Baker Street where you'll have a lift at Waterloo, and two escalators at Baker Street. But then you'll also have a 5-minute walk outside from Baker Street to Marylebone -- city-guide.london/transport/train-journey.php?from=waterloo&to=baker-street
Darren Kenworthy Exactly how many steps on the escalator from street level to bottom?
Staff Hi Darren, we don't have that information. Only the number of stairs on the staircase
