Your comments and questions

Tony Travelling Euston to Lancaster Gate, I know the route Victoria line to Oxford Circus then Central line to Lancaster Gate, but it's been years since I used the tube and I intend paying by contactless card so do I touch in at Euston and out at Lancaster Gate despite changing trains? Or do I touch at Oxford Circus as well

Staff Hi Tony. You only have to touch down at the start and end of your journey, so just Euston and Lancaster Gate. When changing trains at Oxford Circus you shouldn't have to pass through any barriers, so you won't have to touch down

Tony Thank you kindly, I will be leaving Lancaster Gate going to the Lancaster London Hotel. Last time I used the tube, I paid cash at Euston and had to feed tickets into barriers so contactless system without tickets is all new to me. I expect the touch system is at the barriers and not the entrance where tickets used to be purchased.

Staff That's right. There will be a big yellow reader on the ticket barrier. You just have to tap your card down on top of it. There's a picture of what it looks like on my contactless information page - city-guide.london/transport/contactless-cards.php

Tony Thank you, perfect even I can follow that. Cheers

Anne Which end of the east bound train is the station exit

Aidan Hi there is there lift access at this station, my wife is a wheelchair user.

Staff Hi Aidan. There is a lift, but you also have to use one flight of stairs as well. you cant avoid the stairs

David Aspinall Which platform does the southend go from

Staff Hi David. not sure which end you’re referring to as both ends of the central line go north. It only has eastbound and westbound platforms

Sidney Is the station closed again because I come late for work everyday and takes me way longer then normal so when will it stop that its closed in the morning ?

Staff Hi Sidney. Theres no work going on that we know of. There may have been some delays all of last week due to the RMT strike, but thats finished now.

Thomas Hello can I pay cash for the tickets?

Staff Hi Thomas. You can pay with cash at the self-service ticket machines
