Up to a million people are expected to attend this year's rainbow-filled Pride march -- the 51st time that it has been held since 1972.

As the UK's largest and most diverse celebration of the LGBT+ community, it tries to highlight the continuing challenges, inequalities and discrimination that they face every day.

The colourful parade will start at Hyde Park Corner and head down Regent Street to Piccadilly Circus, pass through St. James's to Pall Mall, and then turn left into Trafalgar Square where there will be live music, comedy and speeches on a big stage.

There's another stage with entertainment in Leicester Square, and the pubs and clubs around Soho will be heaving into the small hours.

If you're bringing young ones then they usually set up a family area in St. Giles Church Yard, with activities aimed at parents with children.
