The Wellcome Collection's new exhibition will delve into the notion of beauty across time and cultures.
Beauty is seen as a worthy ideal all around the world, and people go to great lengths to achieve it. But what are the driving forces that lead us to believe in a myth of universal beauty?
On display will be over 200 items, from historical objects and artworks to films and brand-new commissions, that explore the influence of morality, status, health, age, race and gender on the evolution of beauty.
