Tate Modern will be taking a closer look at the participatory and powerful work of Yoko Ono.
It's often hard to look past Yoko's history with John Lennon, but she's been a leading figure in conceptual and performance art since before they even met. She's also renowned for her activism, spending decades working for environmental awareness and world peace. These campaigns are often central to her art.
The exhibition will focus on some of her key moments from the last seven decades, including her famous years in London when she met John Lennon.
Highlights will include Cut Piece (1964), and her banned Film No.4 (1966-67) which she created as a petition for peace. Visitors will also be able to contribute their own personal wishes to her Wish Tree.
